i recall article (by google employee) says keywords obsolete regarding seo. may true, possible meta keywords can determine relevancy of adsense ads? words, should meta keywords ignored or used?

no, ignore keyword meta tag.

neither google crawler nor google adsense using meta keywords, because completly useless, create content, use headers , structured content, , good.
